Yesterday was the Pasikatan which is our school's variety show every University Days (and for a recap, the University Days is our school's celebration of it's foundation anniversary) and I decided to take photos of the event and I'm happy to say that I got a lot of good shots and sometimes, I can't even decide which ones should I include to my Photography Portfolio. Anyway, here are a few of the photos I took during Pasikatan:
The dance presentation of our school's GPTA
This one's from our school's entry to the dance contest during Pasikatan
Another one from our school's entry to the dance contest during Pasikatan
BCSAT's (Butuan School of Arts and Trade) entry to the dance contest in Pasikatan
Another photo from BCSAT's entry to the dance contest in Pasikatan
This was during Jason Dy's performance before the winners of the dance contest were announced
I actually have more good photos back in my Photography Portfolio and also on my Facebook account so if we're friends on Facebook then I guess you'll be able to see all those other photos I took during Pasikatan. I only posted a few photos here so that this post would load fast but don't worry, I might actually post the rest of the Pasikatan photos from my Photography Portfolio here in the future.
Oh, and about Jason Dy, if anyone wonders who on earth is this guy, he's a Youtube sensation who is from my hometown and he graduated from the school where I'm currently studying when he was in high school. You might have known him for his cover videos of Beyonce's "Sweet Dreams" and Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time".
I really think that this year's Pasikatan is really awesome, for one thing, the Hula dancing presentation of the GPTA was something that gave me energy while watching the rest of the show and the contestants from the dance contest were able to come up with creative presentations, something that's beyond the expected. Third, Jason Dy's surprise performance really got everyone pumped up and it was perhaps, one of the most memorable parts from the show.
So much for that, this is all for now and stay tuned for my next posts! :)
